Why Astro

Astro, well… it is simply refreshing.

It is blazing fast, sure, but what I appreciate most is how disciplined it is about build and content workflows. Since my goal was near-zero complexity, I didn’t want a heavy framework adding megabytes of client-side JavaScript to render paragraphs of text.

For the layout, I chose to pair Astro with DaisyUI, setting up custom light and dark themes. The styling is intentionally minimal. No flashy carousels, no infinite scrollsjust clean typography to maximize readability.

Most importantly, the developer workflow is incredibly satisfying. Creating a new post is as simple as dropping a Markdown file into a directory structure, writing, and committing it to Git. The project stays tidy, maintainable, and deterministic over time. It just works.
